Acid Sulfate Soils Management for Construction Sites

This practical one day course is specifically designed for staff involved with work on construction sites where acid sulfate soils (ASS) might be encountered. It provides specific information on acid sulfate soils, their chemistry, assessment, sampling, testing, risk and compliance with relevant legislation. The implementation of an Acid Sulfate Soil Management Plan for a construction site is covered in detail, along with the NSW RMS Guidelines for Acid Sulfate Soil Management.
